“Seeds of Renewal” to Adds Follower Dungeons to World of Warcraft

The Seeds of Renewal update is set to introduce Follower Dungeons to World of Warcraft. This feature is a boon for players level 60-70, allowing them to tackle Dragonflight dungeons either solo or with a small group of friends, supported by NPC teammates.

Solo and Small Group Dungeon Experience

The Follower Dungeons are tailored to offer the same rewards as any Normal difficulty dungeon, ensuring players can earn appropriate gear for their specialization. This feature is particularly appealing to those who want to experience dungeons for the first time in a less intimidating setting or prefer to learn dungeon mechanics and boss fights at their own pace.

Participating Dungeons

The Follower Dungeon feature includes an array of dungeons from the Dragonflight expansion:

  • Ruby Life Pools
  • Nokhud Offensive
  • Brackenhide Hollow
  • Halls of Infusion
  • Algeth’ar Academy
  • Neltharus
  • The Azure Vault
  • Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr

Role Flexibility and NPC Support

Players have the freedom to choose their role (healer, damage dealer, or tank) as usual, and NPC followers will complete the group composition. These NPCs not only assist in battles but also provide buffs and conveniences like a mage table for in-dungeon sustenance.

Leadership and Assistance Options

Within the dungeons, players have the flexibility to lead their group, delegate leadership to another player, or even let an NPC take charge by toggling the “Dungeon Assistance” option. This feature allows players to either control the dungeon run or observe and learn from the NPCs. Switching leadership is as simple as clicking an icon, making the dungeon experience customizable and adaptable to the player’s comfort level.
