Villagers & Heroes players will soon be able to build their dream homes in the latest expansion, Homestead. This update is massive, with Part One focusing on interiors and Part Two on exteriors and the land around your home.
Homestead introduces the House Designer, which allows players to customize their home’s interior by placing furniture, windows, decorations, and more. Players can also choose different wall, floor, and ceiling materials and name their house.
At launch, the Ardent Village set of house items will be available, along with a 10×10 grid for designing the interior. However, post-launch updates will expand the available items and room sizes, including larger, non-square, and multi-story rooms. Players will also be able to customize items with a range of colors and patterns.
House Items are a new type of item in Villagers & Heroes that can be used for both decorative and functional purposes. At launch, around 80 house items from the Ardent Village set can be bought or crafted. Players can also obtain house items through vendors, crafting, and the in-game shop. Post-launch updates will also allow players to obtain house items from world drops and defeated enemies.
