The official announcement was made on the Diablo 4 website by PopularTopular, with the much-awaited news garnering excitement from players who have been eager for an alternative to the traditional mouse navigation system.
Starting January 23rd, PC players will be able to employ the W-A-S-D keys on their keyboards for movement, offering a fresh and enhanced way to explore the diverse landscapes of Sanctuary. This addition aims to provide players with increased functionality and a more dynamic experience when traversing dungeons and venturing above ground.
The Season of the Construct is not only introducing the highly-requested W-A-S-D movement but is also set to bring several quality-of-life improvements. One notable feature is the implementation of always-active Helltides, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Additionally, players can look forward to an increased drop rate for boss-summoning materials, facilitating a more rewarding progression.
As part of the Season 3 update, Diablo 4 will also offer an extra stash tab, providing players with more space to organize their valuable items and gear.
