Activision Blizzard Settles With EEOC, Set Aside $18 Million for Victims & Charities

Activision Blizzard has come to an agreement with the EEOC and will pay $18 million in damages for sexual harassment and gender discrimination. The company was valued at $72B earlier in 2021 with a reported revenue of $2.3 billion in just the last quarter.

Activision Blizzard will also be updating its policies to prevent similar cases in the future.

Money that is left over from the $18 million settlement will go to charities “that advance women in the video game industry or promote awareness around harassment and gender equality issues”
