The SEC is Now Investigating Activision Blizzard and Has Subpoenaed CEO Bobby Kotick
The Wall Street Journal has reported that the Securities and Exchange Commission is now investigating Activision Blizzard for the way the company has handled sexual misconduct and discrimination within the workplace allegations.
The SEC has subpoenaed CEO Bobby Kotick as well as other executives at Activision Blizzard, asking for minutes from Activison board meetings, personnel files, and more dating back to 2019.
Federal securities regulators have launched a wide-ranging investigation into Activision Blizzard Inc., including how the videogame-publishing giant handled employees’ allegations of sexual misconduct and workplace discrimination, according to people familiar with the investigation and documents viewed by the Wall Street Journal

Activision Blizzard confirms the SEC investigation to the Wall Street Journal and say they are cooperating with the SEC.
Activision Blizzard’s stock has dropped by 4.7% since the news broke earlier today.
