Blizzard Continues to Remove References To Employees While Scrambling To Fix WoW In Patch 9.1.5

In hindsight, naming NPCs in a game after real-life people is clearly a bad idea. Along with references to Alex Afrasiabi, references to previous employees at Blizzard Jonathan LeCraft, Jesse McCree, and Luis Barriga have also now had most of their references removed from World of Warcraft.

At the same time, Blizzard has also been busy implementing fixes that the players have been asking for since the launch of Shadowlands in a scramble to try to win back some of the players that have left the game recently. These fixes include the removal of the AoE cap and a system for scrapping your Legendary items for a full Soul Ash and Soul Cinder refund.

Are these changes coming to World of Warcraft too late, or do you plan on returning to Azeroth in the near future? Let us know in the comments.
