Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is gearing up for its May update, with a plethora of exciting new content for players to enjoy. The update will be rolled out over the course of the month, starting from May 10th.

The second part of the NGS 2nd Anniversary event will be the highlight of the update. From May 10th to June 6th (PDT), players can take part in various events and campaigns to celebrate the game’s second anniversary. New items will be added to the Exchange Shop, and players can look forward to finding Specu Rappy, the winner of the Rappy Design Contest, out in the field. Additionally, there will be new ARKS Records for Trainia (Rank 2) in Stia, and a new 24-player limited-time quest called A Wasteland Interception, where players can face Megalotix versions of Dustyl Vera and Renus Vera one after the other.

On May 10th, the AC Scratch Ticket: Designer Dreams May ’23 will be available, featuring the first batch of items from the PSO2 10th Anniversary Item Design Contest. This scratch ticket will contain outfits, CAST parts, and accessories with fascinating designs, as well as the new emote, Hat Holding.

On May 17th, additional SG Scratch Ticket items for Refined Form May ’23 and more will be released. Top-ranking entries from the item remake survey, such as the ARKS Blazer, will be available in NGS specs, and players can look forward to new MTN items and the Mission Pass NGS Season 20.

The update will wrap up with the second part of the NGS 2nd Anniversary event on May 24th, which will include a limited-time quest called Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op ’23, a renewed version of Drill: Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op where players can face enemies from all regions. Additionally, the AC Scratch Ticket: Soul of the Wild will be available, featuring outfits with a feral flair and sporty street-style swimsuits.
