Super Adventure Festival 2023 Kicks Off in Guild Wars 2’s Rata Sum!
The Guild Wars 2 community is abuzz as the Super Adventure Festival 2023 has officially begun. The annual festival is set in Rata Sum and will be available until April 18. This year’s festival promises to be a blast for both new and experienced players alike.
The festival features a virtual world designed by Moto where players can take part in different activities. Participants will be given a different skill set and will not take any damage from falling, but they cannot use gliders or mounts. The festival offers two worlds to explore and two alternate gameplay modes: Exploration Mode and Tribulation Mode, in addition to Normal Mode.
During the festival, players can trade baubles for Bauble Bubbles, which can be used to purchase various items such as weapons, armor, utility items, and miniatures. Additionally, players can complete the (Annual) Super Adventure Box Nostalgia achievement to earn classy Generation One weapon skins and Powered Gloves.
New rewards are also up for grabs this year, including Retro-Forged weapons, a Mini Adventure Boxer, and a Mini Blue Bauble. Players can even craft new guild hall items to create their own Super Adventure world.
Moto, the festival’s creator, has also invited players to the Test Zone, a new area he’s working on. While the Test Zone is not entirely finished, Moto welcomes players to help test the available area. To visit the Test Zone, players can pick up the note on the door of the World 3 House in the Hub and follow the instructions.
The Super Adventure Festival is accessible to players of all levels, and even those who are brand new to the game can take part in all the festival activities. The Guild Wars 2 team invites everyone to join in the fun and check out all the details in the full release notes on the official forums.
