Wild Terra 2 Releases Major Update and Announces Free Weekend on Steam
Wild Terra 2 has announced a major update designed to enhance player immersion and introduce new gameplay elements. Dubbed Major Update 2.2.366, this release adds a variety of features to improve the gaming experience for both new and existing players.
From May 31st at 17:00 UTC to June 2nd at 17:00 UTC, Wild Terra 2 will be available for free on Steam. This Free Weekend event allows players to explore the game’s updates and features at no cost.
The update introduces several new features aimed at welcoming new players. These include side quests with unique rewards, such as a skeleton pet, and numerous Easter eggs designed to promote exploration. These features aim to provide a comprehensive introduction to the game’s environment.
One of the significant additions in Update 2.2.366 is the ability for players to construct shrines within their dominions. These shrines offer temporary effects that include global bonuses, adding a strategic layer to the game. Access to construct these shrines is available to all players who have the appropriate permissions for production buildings, indicated by the furnace icon in town hall settings.
The update also expands the range of research, events, and side quests available on the starting island, intended to display features typically encountered in later stages of character development. Additionally, items from beginner events are now obtainable on the main continent through various activities such as fishing, discoveries, and crypt completions.
