World of Warcraft’s Embers of Neltharion and Dragonflight Season 2 Set to Launch in May

World of Warcraft players can look forward to exciting new content coming to the game in the upcoming weeks. The Embers of Neltharion update will go live on May 2, allowing players to explore a brand new zone, the Zaralek Caverns. The update also brings new features, including cross-faction guilds, Fyrrak Assaults, and the chance to meet new allies such as the Niffen and Drogbar.

Dragonflight Season 2 will kick off on May 9, giving players the opportunity to breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty. In addition, the new season also brings a new PvP ladder and gear, seasonal affixes, and new dungeons to the Mythic+ rotation.

The Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Raid will be available in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties starting the week of May 9. Players will have the chance to breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory hidden within Zaralek Cavern and face off against dracthyr and Old Gods corruption.

Players can also join the PTR to explore the latest content in testing and read the current Dragonflight Embers of Neltharion PTR Development Notes on the test forums. Keep an eye out for more coverage of the new content update as we lead up to launch.
