RIFT’s annual celebration, the Carnival of the Ascended, has returned, bringing with it a festive atmosphere to commemorate the game’s 13th anniversary. The event invites players, known in-game as the Ascended, to partake in festivities spread across Telara’s major cities, now adorned with eye-catching decorations to enhance the celebratory mood.
For the next four weeks, participants have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, earning rewards such as loot bags, mounts, and more. The event is structured to include both weekly and daily quests, offering diverse ways for players to collect the sought-after Auroral Doubloons among other prizes.
Weekly Quest Highlight: Players are encouraged to find Dantwor Honey-Tongue in Tempest Bay to embark on the “Clean House at the Carnival” quest. This weekly challenge involves completing 50 Carnival mini-games, rewarding participants with 2 Auroral Doubloons. These tokens can be exchanged for special items in the Carnival shop.
Daily Quests: For daily engagement, the event offers quests from Frog Wrangling or Sijay Creg within players’ home cities. These quests focus on completing 5 Carnival Instant Adventures, offering additional rewards and incentives for daily participation.
Event Phases: The Carnival of the Ascended is divided into several phases, each with its own timeframe:
- Phase 1: February 21, 2024, to February 28, 2024
- Phase 2: February 29, 2024, to March 7, 2024
- Phase 3: March 8, 2024, to March 14, 2024
- Shop Only Phase: March 14, 2024, to March 20, 2024
