Dungeons & Dragons Online Offers Free Expansion Pack in April to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Dungeons & Dragons Online is commemorating the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons with the “Year of the Dragon” event, offering players free expansion packs during the month of April and May. From April 24th to May 28th, 2024, participants can visit Xatheral in the Eberron Hall of Heroes to select one expansion for their account at no cost.

This promotion allows players to choose from a variety of expansions, such as “Isle of Dread,” “Fables of the Feywild,” and others, excluding “Vecna Unleashed.” The expansions provided include the playable content typically available for purchase in the DDO Store. They do not, however, include the additional bonuses or account unlocks featured in the DDO Market editions.

Players who possess all available expansions have the alternative option to receive a Greater Elixir of Discovery from an NPC named Estraz. This elixir increases the chances of acquiring Named Loot from chests by 10%, with the effect lasting 60 minutes and pausing when the player is in public areas or logged out.
