Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds has received a new update on May 3rd, 2023. The new update brings a lot of exciting new features and improvements to the game, including a new episode, new familiar, new mount, new costume, new events, new packages, and bug fixes and improvements.
One of the major highlights of the new update is the addition of a new episode called Goldbeard’s Treasure Island. In this episode, players can challenge various content while exploring a hidden story. The episode will be available after completing the Reputation Quest called “The Legend of Goldbeard.” Players can explore the mysterious islands and claim abundant rewards until June 1st.
The Goldbeard’s Treasure Island episode includes a 1-Player Dungeon called Kraken’s Island (Novice), where players can enter by using a Kraken’s Island Dungeon Ticket. Players can obtain various rewards by clearing the dungeon for the first time. The episode also includes a 5-Player Dungeon called Kraken’s Island (Normal), where players can form a party or participate in matchmaking. Richer rewards can be obtained by clearing higher-tiered dungeons.
Players can also explore the Vermuda Archipelago through the “Explore the Archipelago” menu at the dock during the event period. To explore the archipelago, players must pay Kraken Coin to the boatman as payment. Up to 150 Kraken Coins can be obtained per day by defeating field monsters.
In addition to the new episode, familiar, and mount, the update includes a new costume called Pirate Outfit/Hat, which comes with related Codex/Collection entries. The update also expands the maximum dueling grade from 50 to 100 and adds new skills to the Codex/Collection.
