The new Group Ironman mode, set for release this autumn, builds on the original Ironman Mode introduced ten years ago. This team-based variant requires players to collaborate without access to the Grand Exchange, player trading, or PvP XP, aiming to provide a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Starting in July, players can explore the Sanctum of Rebirth, a new boss dungeon that accommodates 1-4 players. This dungeon will feature sequential boss fights and offer new rewards, including T95 Magic Dual Wield weapons and unique upgrade items for those who overcome the most difficult challenges.

Later in the year, a new skilling boss will be introduced, which is associated with the Sanctum of Rebirth and upcoming story quests. These elements are part of Jagex’s initiative to increase community involvement in content development, allowing players to provide feedback on these new additions.

Following the storyline introduced in April’s “Requiem for a Dragon,” two new story quests will continue the narrative, with the first linking directly to the Sanctum of Rebirth. These quests are designed to further develop RuneScape’s lore and engage players in ongoing story arcs.

Seasonal events will return throughout the year, including The Beach in the summer, a new Halloween event in the autumn, and the Christmas Village update in December. Each event will feature themed activities, quests, and opportunities for players to earn unique rewards.
