New RuneScape Novel “The Gift of Guthix” Takes Fans on a Magical Historical Journey

Jagex, in partnership with Titan Books, has announced the release of “RuneScape: The Gift of Guthix,” the first book in a new series of novels set in the RuneScape universe. This novel is available at retailers globally and introduces readers to a pivotal period in the world of Gielinor.

The story of “The Gift of Guthix” explores the origins of magic within this universe, set against a backdrop of civil conflict and the Fremennik Great Invasion. The plot centers around the rise of King Raddallin, whose leadership unites various tribes. These events coincide with a powerful discovery in the North, presenting new possibilities and challenges.

Authored by Erin M. Evans, known for her contributions to the Forgotten Realms novels, this book weaves the destinies of a scribe and a jarl’s son who are crucial to the survival and prosperity of King Raddallin’s reign. Their decisions have far-reaching impacts, influencing not only their lives but also the future of Asgarnia.

This release also sets the stage for the second installment in the series, “RuneScape: The Fall of Hallowvale,” which is set to launch on November 5, 2024. The upcoming novel will take readers to the city of Hallowvale, where new threats loom over its inhabitants.
