Blizzard Is Asking Players If They’d Be Down to Play Cataclysm Again
With hype for Wrath of the Lich King Classic on an all-time high, Blizzard is now sending out surveys asking if the classic journey should end at WotLK or if players are up for a round of Classic Cataclysm.
These types of surveys are quite common from Blizzard, and they have been sent out in relation to all the previous classic releases.
Cataclysm was one of the most divisive expansions in WoW’s almost two-decade-long history, with fans agreeing that it was the end of the classic experience and the birth of modern WoW, so feedback this time around is bound to be a lot more negative than previous rounds of surveys.
Questions on the surveys ranged from “what genre of games do you like?” to “what would you like the WoW Classic team to do next?”. Players were also asked to rank how much they liked certain features in Cataclysm like Archeology, Reforging, Arenas and Transmog.
Blizzard has not announced any plans for Cataclysm Classic, but if the player feedback is positive, it’s something they will definitely consider.
Whether or not Cataclysm Classic happens, one thing is for sure – WoW Classic players are in for a treat with Wrath of the Lich King. Stay tuned!
