Tower of Fantasy, the well-received open-world MMORPG by Hotta Studio and published by Level Infinite, has broadened its horizons with the introduction of Asuka Shikinami Langley, aligning with the launch of the Evangelion collaboration. This addition, announced on March 12, 2024, introduces a new simulacrum, storyline, and rewards into the game.

Asuka, known for her role as the pilot of EVA-02, joins the game’s roster as a distinguished character. Described as a prodigy, she is recognized for her vital missions against the Angels, contributing significantly to humanity’s defense efforts in the game’s narrative. Players can access Asuka alongside her distinct weapon, the Spear of Longinus, enhancing the gameplay experience.

The collaboration extends to include a fresh narrative within the Vera region of Tower of Fantasy. An unexpected Angel intrusion outside of Mirroria prompts a confrontation, with players and pilots of Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapons taking on this new challenge. This storyline addition aims to enrich the game’s narrative depth.

Participants in this event can look forward to acquiring various in-game rewards. These include the Smart Servant “Pen Pen”, an EVA-01-themed outfit, vouchers, and exclusive appearances, among others, aimed at enhancing the player’s experience.
