The Ultima Online team has announced that they are working towards an Alpha NLS (New Legacy Shard) release by the middle of 2023. The team stated that they are taking a sprinkle of the old and adding new content to create a unique experience for players. They also announced that they are unable to create a Classic shard as requested by some players.
In addition to the Alpha NLS release, the team is requesting that players provide the xyz coordinates of their houses in order to speed up the process of placing historical banners. They also reminded players that Sovereigns are applied to the Master account and to spend them before unlinking accounts.
The team also clarified the difference between multi-client and multi-boxing, with the latter being illegal. They also announced that they will be having a Summer Solstice BBQ party on Fire Island in July and that there will be events and rewards throughout the first half of 2023.
The upcoming events for 2023 include Veteran Rewards, Valentine’s Day, Nature’s Revenge, and the Festival of the Summer Solstice.
