The latest episode of DC Universe Online, “Shock to the System,” has been released, and players are diving into the worlds of the Milestone Universe to uncover the secret behind the missing heroes and the chaos in Dakota City.
In this episode, players will have access to new daily and weekly open-world missions and bosses, as well as normal and elite versions of a Duo, Alert, and Raid. There are even special event versions of all content available to players level 20 and up, for a limited time.
The new open-world missions take place in Dakota City, which players can find in their warp menu or by using the teleporter in the House of Legends. There are new daily and weekly missions available in Dakota City, with a minimum level requirement of 20.
The new Duo mission, “Shock to the System: Abandoned Subway,” features Static and Ebon, as players try to convince Ebon to stop his latest attacks against Dakota City. The mission can be found under Tier 6 of the 2 Player Tab in the On Duty menu, with a combat rating of 385. There’s also an event version available for players level 20 and up.
The new Alert mission, “Shock to the System: Meta-Therapy Clinic,” has players teaming up with Static and Ebon to investigate a suspicious clinic. The mission can be found under Tier 6 of the 4 Player Tab in the On Duty menu, with a combat rating of 385. There’s also an event version available for players level 20 and up.
The new Raid mission, “Shock to the System: Terrorium,” is the final fight against DeSaad, with Static and Rocket joining players in Desaad’s Terrorium. The mission can be found under Expert Tier 6 of the 8 Player Tab in the On Duty menu, with a combat rating of 385. There’s also an event version available for players level 20 and up.
In addition to the new missions, players can earn new event currency, Meta-Clinic IDs, and Encrypted Schematics. There are new Artifact and Augments, and players can acquire new gear inspired by Rocket and Ebon. Plus, there are new feats, collections, and more.
To add to the excitement, the new Emotes Vendor and Style Menu allows players to equip eight of their favorite emotes for quick use. They can open the new Emotes Wheel by holding Left CTRL or D-Pad Down to quickly use their equipped emotes, and visit Plastic Man in the House of Legends to purchase emotes from other personalities. Players can even preview emotes in the Styles Menu.
“Shock to the System” is available now and is free for all players. With so much new content and features, it’s sure to be a hit among DC Universe Online fans.
