Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore Posts Roadmap Up Until August

Gellyberry Studios revealed their roadmap for the next three months for their MMO Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore.

Starting in June, players can look forward to the addition of Guilds, which will likely bring a new level of community engagement and teamwork to Ethyrial. The update also features a significant balance and class design patch with a focus on ability and scaling tweaks.

In addition to the balance changes, each class will receive 30 new spells for characters level 25 and above. This should allow for more diversified play styles and strategies, and add an extra layer of depth to the game. Moreover, fifteen new monster types are set to invade the world of Ethyrial, including Ebonshade, Slimespawn, Soulreaper, Mycoli, and Mariscale.

June’s update also brings in eighteen new monster camps that cater to these new beasties, giving players new hunting grounds and challenges to conquer. Crafters can also expect additions such as Intelligence/Wisdom sets for Leatherworking/Tailoring and an Alchemy Overhaul from T4 to T7. There will also be new materials from monsters that come with unique recipes to bridge gaps in stat distributions across tiers.

Furthermore, Thistlebrook quests are being added, server merges are planned, and personal player housing properties will be unlocked. This month’s update concludes with the addition of an Elemental rift, a 20-man end game raid, and the start of Rated PVP Season 1 for 2v2 and 3v3 rated arenas.

In July, the development team is set to overhaul Fishing and Cooking systems. They will also add fifteen more monster camps, as well as Dawnrock and Finville quests. To spice things up, new fresh servers will be introduced.

The roadmap extends into August, where players will receive more than 200 new profession recipes in areas like Alchemy, Cooking, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring. The game’s XP tables from levels 1-30 will be rescaled, and new quests in Narrowbane and Coinfield will be introduced. To top it off, NPC bounty hunters will start hunting players with infamy, adding another layer of thrilling challenge.

While Gellyberry mentioned the possibility of a Kanban board, they decided to prioritize fixing issues over maintaining it. Instead, they will actively update the Known Issues list on their Discord server. They encourage players to provide feedback on the roadmap and suggest any additional features that they would like to see in the game.
