Following the devastating earthquakes that hit southern Türkiye and neighboring Syria, the world has mobilized relief efforts, including the Icelandic elite search and rescue team. Among those affected by the disaster are millions of refugees and even capsuleers, leading to the launch of a PLEX for GOOD campaign by CCP Games.
The charitable giving project allows EVE Online players to convert in-game currency into real-world money, which is then donated to charities and NGOs. The campaign, which runs until February 21, 2023, requires a minimum donation of 200 PLEX and will benefit organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and AHBAP. The PLEX collected will be converted back into real-life currency and delivered to charity partners on behalf of the capsuleers of New Eden.
