Fallout 76 Celebrates New TV Series with Free Play Week and Discounts

Starting today, Bethesda Game Studios is offering a Free Play Week for “Fallout 76,” coinciding with the launch of the new Fallout TV series on Prime Video. This event, which enables fans and newcomers to explore the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 76 at no cost, began at 12PM ET on April 11 and will end at 12PM ET on April 18. Players can access the game on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms by downloading it from their respective stores and signing into their Bethesda.net account.

To mark the release of the Fallout TV series, set in the same universe as the award-winning Fallout role-playing games, the game is also available at significantly reduced prices during this period. The Standard Edition is being offered at an 80% discount, and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the High Stakes Bundle with additional items like the Honey Pot ‘o Gold Slot Machine and the Civic Duty Power Armor, is available for 67% off. The High Stakes Bundle is also available separately for existing game owners at a 50% discount.

Adding to the excitement, Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 have also joined GeForce NOW, allowing players to experience the games directly from the Cloud. In-game, players can claim free Vault 33-themed attire including a Jumpsuit in the Atomic Shop until May 7. For Game Pass Ultimate members, additional rewards such as the Vault 33 Survival Kit are available, which includes themed items from the TV series and other consumables.

In conjunction with the series premiere, Fallout 1st members have the opportunity to claim the West Coast Duster and Hat until May 9. Additionally, on April 11, the community can watch 18 content creators stream the first episode of the Fallout series on Twitch. An exclusive offer allows fans to receive a free Vault 33 Backpack by subscribing to any Fallout 76 Twitch streamer’s channel from April 12 through April 23, provided the subscription occurs while the streamer is broadcasting Fallout 76.
