Final Fantasy XIV’s Subscriber Count Continues Upwards According to Square Enix’s Financial Report
Square Enix has released their latest quarterly financial report and it shows that Final Fantasy XIV continues to grow in terms of subscribers compared to the previous year. The game reached new heights in the last quarter, with more paying players signing up to explore the world of Eorzea, resulting in a decent upturn for the MMO division at Square Enix.
This is great news for FFXIV, but the rest of Square Enix’s portfolio doesn’t look so healthy, with HD games and mobile games underperforming. It seems that FFXIV is the saving grace for the company right now, and they’ll be hoping that it can continue to grow in order to offset the losses elsewhere. Let’s hope that FFXIV continues to thrive in the coming months and years!
