First Community Letter from Everquest Franchise Head Jennifer Chan

First Community Letter from Everquest Franchise Head Jennifer Chan

Last week, EQ and EQ2 producer and head of Darkpaw Games Holly Longdale, announced her departure from the franchise with Jennifer Chan taking over.

Chan was previously the technical director for 6 years and was a programmer with the franchise since 2008.

In her first-ever producer’s letter, she has a message to all Everquest fans that plans for the games are going ahead as planned.

I want to reassure you that the change of guard does not mean change of plans in EverQuest II. We are moving full steam ahead on our road map for the year with lots of new content in store.

EverQuest is about to celebrate its 21st birthday and it’s an honor to be blessed by the love and dedication that you all have for the franchise, and with EverQuest’s 21st, that means Chronoportal is coming, and we’ll have more info on that in the next few days.

Chan also mentions changes to Overseer in an upcoming game update in April, along with class balance changes and performance improvements.
