The Guardian Games are back, and it’s time to show your class pride and compete against your fellow Guardians. The event will run from May 2 to May 23 and will feature a friendly competition between Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans.
To participate in the Guardian Games, all Guardians need to do is earn Medallions, which can be earned through various activities such as Gambit, Quickplay Crucible matches, Nightfalls, raids, dungeons, Competitive Crucible, Trials of Osiris, or Legend Defiant Battlegrounds.
The class that deposits the most Medallions each day will be crowned the winner, and the class with the most Medallions at the end of the three weeks will be declared the overall winner.
Along with bragging rights, players can also earn rewards such as the Void SMG and the new featured Guardian Games weapon, the Taraxippos, a Legendary Strand Scout Rifle.
The event also includes Strike scoring, where players can earn potent buffs for their weapons and abilities by achieving high scores in Strikes. Players can also compete in a special Crucible game mode called Supremacy, where they can matchmake with their class and compete against other classes.
For those who want to take the competition to the next level, the Guardian Games Cup is back, with players able to register their fireteam for a chance to compete in either the Technical or Charitable categories. The top teams in each category will receive prizes, and funds raised during the competition will go to Direct Relief and the International Rescue Committee.
Overall, the Guardian Games are a great opportunity for Guardians to come together and compete, while also earning rewards and supporting a good cause. So get out there and show your class pride!
