Lost Ark’s April Update Brings New Challenges, Ancient Gear, and Cosmetics

Lost Ark has announced the release of its April Update. The update, which was released on April 11, 2023, introduces new content, events, skins, and other updates to the game. Among the most notable additions is the arrival of the Phantom Legion Commander in Brelshaza Hard Mode. The update also introduces a new Guardian Raid, where players will face the wrath-filled Solar Guardian, Hanumatan.

In addition to new raids, higher level South Vern Chaos Dungeons, Inferno Boss Rush, new quests, and Sidereal Weapons, the update also features Ancient Quality Gear, which offers bigger and better bonuses to players. The new gear can be crafted with materials acquired from Legion Raid Phantom Legion Commander Brelshaza Hard mode, and it requires players to reach Item Level 1540 and the Achievement ‘Phantom Shard Remnants’ level 1.

Another new feature of the April Update is the Sidereal Weapons and Quests, a new type of gear in Lost Ark that is available to be earned from a new questline starting at Item Level 1520. The quests start with a ‘Sidereal: Galatur’s Will’ item that drops from completing either the Normal or Hard mode of the Brelshaza Legion Raid, which can be used from the inventory to trigger the new questline.

The update also includes quality-of-life improvements, such as improved quest text bypass system, Triport unlock conditions applied across a player’s roster, and docked boats that will now be warped when players cannot enter a port.

Lost Ark’s April Update is now live, and players can find the full list of content, events, skins, and other updates on the game’s website.
