The latest patch for Mortal Online 2, Patch 126.96.36.199, has arrived and it brings a host of exciting new features and improvements to the game. The most notable additions in this patch are the new Elementalism spells, mountable creatures, and craftable pet bags.
With the introduction of the second batch of Elementalism spells, players can now manipulate the weather in their region and even require specific weather conditions to cast certain spells. Additionally, players can now ride wolves, direwolves, terrorbirds, and domestic pigs, including their risen variants. The new mount passenger system also allows players to bring a friend along while riding horses and molvas.
Furthermore, molvas can now be equipped with bespoke armor, making them even more intimidating on the battlefield. The patch also includes a variety of new craftable pet bags that allow furry and feathered companions to assist players in new ways.
The patch notes also outline a range of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. For example, players can now give bags custom names by using the Ctrl + right-click function, and the interaction timer with other players and houses has been reduced. Additionally, the AI has been improved, with aggressive AI now attacking player pets.
The patch also introduces new outlaw bandit spawners to the game, as well as lootable shallow graves and sunken boats throughout Myrland. Grass can now be gathered directly from the ground in thick grass areas to feed pets, and the heat system has been turned back on, with weather now adding to heat.
