Mortal Online 2 Rolls Out Major Update with New Dungeon, Enhanced Graphics, and Revamped Combat System

Mortal Online 2 has rolled out its latest update, Patch 2.0.0.26, introducing an array of thrilling features for its avid players. The highlight of this update is the mysterious new dungeon, the Undercroft, nestled in the midst of Myrland, promising new challenges and adventures for players.

A notable technological advancement in this update is the integration of AMD’s FSR3 Upscaling and Frame Generation, which is set to provide a substantial FPS boost across various graphics cards. This feature, compatible with all GPUs and requiring DX12, marks a significant step towards smoother and more immersive gameplay.

In addition to these enhancements, the update brings a fresh combat mechanic that allows players to feint while maintaining their charged attack power. This new mechanic, accompanied by adjustments in weapon recovery times and damage mitigation, indicates the developers’ focus on refining and balancing the combat experience.

The AI system also sees improvements, particularly in ranged combat, offering players a more realistic and challenging encounter. Etherworld combat has been tweaked with better targeting, effects, and sounds, elevating the mystical combat experience.

The update also addresses several user interface issues, streamlining player interaction with the game. These include fixes to language settings affecting chat commands and the /droploot command, enhancing the overall ease of gameplay.

Despite the significant improvements, the developers acknowledge ongoing issues post the upgrade to UE5, such as invisible landscape patches and occasional game freezes. These are currently under active investigation for resolution.
