Pantheon Development Stream and Roundtable: Lore, Concept Art, and Programming in Pantheon

In the latest Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen developer roundtable, Visionary Realms gave players a closer look at the Giants of Terminus, from lore to concept art and some in-game shots.

In the recent January Developer Roundtable, the team also discussed various programming aspects of Pantheon in detail with Lead Programmer Kyle “iijji” Olsen. If you’re curious about what goes into making Pantheon tick or want to know more about Terminus and its inhabitants, then check out the videos below.

David “Roenick” Schlow and Tony “Minus” Guidi kicked off the development stream by discussing lore and concept art for the giants of Terminus.

Lead Artist Jared Pullen also got his own segment in the video where he shares some more insight about the concept art and development of the giants and their architecture.

We also got a look at the work that has been done in the Wild’s End zone over the recent months after it was previewed in a greybox state a while back.

The next video is all about programming. Pantheon’s lead programmer, Kyle Olsen, discusses some of the challenges that the team is facing with Pantheon and how they’re working to overcome them.
