Square Enix Announces New Content for Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne
Square Enix recently announced the addition of a new section for the upcoming Patch 6.4, The Dark Throne, to the Endwalker expansion site. Although not much information is available yet, the site has revealed that the patch will be released in late May 2023.
Patch 6.4 will bring new features and content to the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Final Fantasy XIV. Among the new features are Main Scenario Quests titled “The Dark Throne,” a new raid dungeon named “Pandæmonium: Anabaseios,” a new instanced dungeon called “The Aetherfont,” and a new trial called “The Voidcast Dais.” Players can also expect a new variant dungeon called “Mount Rokkon,” a new criterion dungeon titled “Another Mount Rokkon,” and a Blue Mage Update.
The patch will also introduce a new Unreal Trial, “Containment Bay Z1T9 (Unreal),” along with additional duty support, Tataru’s Grand Endeavor, and further Hildibrand Adventures. Players can also look forward to Weapon Enhancement Quests for Manderville Weapons, Tool Enhancement Quests for Splendorous Tools, and updates to the Island Sanctuary and Ocean Fishing. Additionally, there will be Allagan Tomestones of Comedy, new crafting recipes, and new mounts, minions, and emotes.
This announcement has caused much excitement among the Final Fantasy XIV community, as players eagerly anticipate the release of the patch.
