Digital Extremes’ Warframe Introduces The Duviri Paradox, a Cinematic and Accessible Open-World Adventure for All Players

Warframe’s latest update, The Duviri Paradox, is now available for free on all platforms. This new update offers a cinematic quest and an endless, customizable adventure across a color-shifting open world. The Duviri Paradox is a story-driven cinematic update that is available for all players to enjoy, regardless of their skill level or familiarity with the game. The update introduces an exciting new way to experience the thrills of the online sci-fi MMO.

The Duviri Paradox introduces players to Warframe’s fourth open world, a fractured and unknown world composed of strange floating islands ruled by Dominus Thrax. Environments and colors shift and transpose as the child king’s mood spirals through fear, anger, joy, envy, and sorrow. Each mood in The Duviri Paradox is distinct in environments, combat, and interactions, where enemies and the citizens of Duviri look, react, and behave differently.

Players will continue their post-Quest journey in Duviri by selecting one of three game modes: ‘The Circuit’, which provides a new Warframe Only endless game mode, ‘The Duviri Experience’, which is a full open world adventure, and ‘The Lone Story’ for a solo narrative experience. The update also includes an upgraded melee combat system, adding Intrinsics for players to upgrade their Combat, Riding Abilities, Opportunity, and Endurance.

The Duviri Paradox offers new and returning players a unique, immersive gaming experience. The update is not progression-locked, and players can enjoy the cinematic adventure without any prior experience with the online sci-fi action game. The Duviri Paradox is the last piece in the story of the Drifter before the development team moves on to their next multi-year narrative arc.

Digital Extremes has also released new Supporter Pack and Bundle content available from Warframe’s in-game Market for Platinum. With one or a combination of multiple packs and bundles, Warframe players can fully customize their in-game appearance and take down adversaries with one of several devastating new melee weapons.

The Warframe development team will celebrate the launch of The Duviri Paradox with Devstream 170 on Friday, April 28. The stream will feature physical and digital giveaways and a robust discussion around the next chapter of Warframe.

Players can download Warframe on Steam PC, Epic Games Store, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo™ Switch.
