The Book Of Travels Launch Delay Was Caused By An “Unholy Trio” Of Bugs

A short while back it was announced that the release date of Book of Travels would be pushed back from its August 30th date. In a recent post from Might & Delight on the Book of Travels Kickstarter page, the developers shed some light on the issues that had caused the delay.

An “Unholy Trio” of bugs had been identified by beta testers. The first being a case of rubberbanding where players were slingshot backward to a previously occupied spot instead of moving forward. The second had to do with things spawning in the wrong locations and the third was an issue that turned NPCs invisible at random.

A new release date for the early access has yet to be announced but the devs are very close to fixing the unholy trio of bugs mentioned in the post.
