Might & Delight Lays Off Staff But Says Development Will Continue
Tiny MMORPG Book of Travels‘ developer Might and Delight has announced in a post on the Book of Travels Steam page that the company will be cutting back the team “from around 35 people to 10 people.”
In light of the launch not going quite as well as we had hoped, we have had to make some rather big, and difficult, cutbacks to our beloved team. In order to stay alive, we have been forced to cut down our team from around 35 people to 10 people. Saying goodbye to so many skilled, trusted and loved Might and Delighters has been, without a shadow of a doubt, our most difficult test in our 11 year history.
Development of Book of Travels will continue but understandably at a slower pace than before. Fans of the title can support by picking up a copy of the game’s Original Soundtrack and the “donation-like DLC” ”Cup of Kindness” which will be released in the coming days.
