War of Dragnorox Game Update: Revamped Combat and DM System Promise an Unforgettable MMORPG Experience
A new game status update has been released by the team behind War of Dragnorox. In the update, Creative Director Josh Caba revealed that progress on the game is continuing apace and that the team is putting all of its energy into getting the game to a state where it is alpha playable.
One of the most exciting developments is the revamp of the game’s combat system, which Caba says is “BY FAR the best system we could have imagined.” Instead of traditional magic-based healing and summoning, the game features unique classes like Bonestitchers and Chloromancers, who perform surgeries on other players using harvested organs and rot their enemies’ bones away with fungi.
The update also reveals that the game’s DM system is shaping up to make War of Dragnorox “the greatest game possible,” with a host of events, challenges, and secrets that promise to keep players on the edge of their seats.
However, the team acknowledges that building an MMORPG is a tremendous undertaking, and that there are still many core systems and fixes that need to be completed before the game is ready for release. As a result, the team will be doubling down on its strengths and focusing 100% on building the best game possible, with no monthly updates until around August or September.
Despite this, the team is looking forward to showing gamers something incredible very soon. The announcement has left fans eagerly anticipating the next update and the eventual release of War of Dragnorox.
