5 Low-Level Coin Farming Spots in New World

Making coin in New World is not something you must or should wait until max level to start doing. You can start making money as soon as you arrive in Aeternum, in fact, basic items such as Flint and Green Wood are great money makers. Some of the low-level coin farming spots are actually as good or better than many high-level farming spots in the game.

Below are some of our favorite low-level coin farming spots in New World.

Plains north of Hermit’s Shrine

You are taken to this area relatively early in New World’s main storyline, and it’s one of the best low-leveling coin farming spots.

The main area you want to farm is the island which has quite a few Highlands Bison which drop a lot of Rawhide. It is also one of the areas in the game with the most Hemp. Hemp can also be found if you cross the river to the north. There’s also a lot of herbs in the area. Hyssop isn’t really worth much but can be used to level Arcana, and other herbs like Thyme, Oregano, Mint, and Ginger can be sold for a decent amount of coin.

The area to the west with a farm also has Hemp, Elk for skinning, chests, and vegetables.

The area can be pretty busy so I find it best to farm here early in the morning.

Boars in Various Low-Level Areas

No matter where you begin your adventures in New World will arrive in an area with a lot of boars, right between finishing the starting area and moving on to your first town.

The boars are only level 3 but provide a good amount of Rawhide. There are also lots of herbs and berries. Also, keep a lookout for Provisions Containers which can contain valuable items used in cooking

Undead Farms

All over Aeternum you will find farms run over with Undead. Even the low-level ones are good for making coin. These farms have tons of vegetables that can be used in cooking and many of them are quite valuable. There are also a lot of chests, usually at least one in each building and a few more scattered around. You can use this New World Map to see all chest spawns.

There are also usually herbs, hemp, and a good amount of flint in and around the farms.

Emberwood and Woods South of Everfall

The woods to the south and southeast of Everfall is brimming with Elk, which drops a lot of Rawhide. There is also a decent amount of Hemp, Iron Ore, Flint, and Herbs. To the southeast around the ruins, you will also find Lynx which also drops a good amount of Rawhide but you should be around level 20 to tackle those.

Broad and Rare Fishing Hotspots

Fishing in New World is boring to some but a relaxing activity to others. It’s also a good way of making coin, and very safe for new players. Rare fish and Large Salmon are especially valuable, and more common fish can be salvaged for various Fish Filets and Fish Oil which are in high demand. You will also get chests with valuable gems, ore, and other goodies from fishing.

You can fish in any body of water but Fishing Hotspots are better. A good one for new players is the Broad Hotspot just outside Windsward.
