As part of the Elder Scrolls Online’s 10th anniversary celebrations, a special promotion centered around the Thieves Guild is taking place from April 15 to April 29, 2024. During this event, players are offered the opportunity to claim the Thieves Guild DLC for free by engaging in in-game activities.
To take advantage of this offer, players need to achieve the “Pocket Picker” in-game achievement, which involves successfully picking the pocket of any citizen in Tamriel. This achievement allows players to obtain the Thieves Guild DLC at no cost from the in-game Crown Store. Those who have already earned higher-tier achievements like “Purse Snatcher” or “Sneak Thief Extraordinaire” are also eligible to claim the DLC.
The Thieves Guild DLC provides access to the Hew’s Bane zone and introduces players to the Thieves Guild organization, complete with a unique storyline and a dedicated skill line to aid in their clandestine activities. Additionally, by securing the Hew’s Bane Cave Delver achievement, which requires players to defeat bosses in two explorable caves within the zone, participants can also claim the Treasure Hunter Horse mount from the Crown Store.
The celebration includes specific Daily and Weekly Endeavors that focus on activities associated with the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood. These tasks might include lock-picking, using poisons, or employing the Blade of Woe, with rewards increased for the duration of the event.
Furthermore, players who do not yet have access to the Dark Brotherhood DLC can purchase it at a 20% discount during the promotion period. This DLC grants access to the Gold Coast zone, the Dark Brotherhood organization, and skills such as the Blade of Woe and the Dark Brotherhood Skill Line.
