FFXIV Endwalker’s Headstart is Live if You Can Get Through the Queue

Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion Endwalker has finally been released, for now, it’s just for the folks who pre-ordered the expansion. The rest of us will have to wait a couple more days until the 7th.

The servers went up at 1:00 AM PST and as predicted have been full since launch. Queues lasting several hours have been reported, but that is to be expected for any major MMO release. Amongst the players that have gotten in, few have reported any real issues, so I think we can conclude that the launch has been a success on Square Enix’s part so far at least.

In related news, Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Sia has teamed up with Final Fantasy XIV to release a cover of Fly Me To The Moon that is inspired by the game.
