Square Enix has released details about the upcoming 14-hour broadcast to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV, starting on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. PDT. This extensive broadcast aims to bring together the game’s community for a series of events, discussions, and previews.

The broadcast will begin with an introductory segment where the hosts will provide an overview of the evening’s schedule. One of the key features of the event is a segment called “A Stroll with Yoshi-P,” where Naoki Yoshida, the game’s producer and director, will join players in-game to participate in alliance raids and share insights into their development.

The “Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXX” is scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. PDT, offering the latest information on the Dawntrail expansion and other game-related content. This segment will feature Yoshida and Toshio Murouchi, the global community producer.

Additionally, the broadcast will include a special segment celebrating the 10th anniversary of THE PRIMALS, Final Fantasy XIV’s official band, along with a developers’ round-table discussion that promises to give viewers behind-the-scenes insights into the game’s development process.

The main broadcast will be available on YouTube Live, Niconico Live, and Twitch, while the secondary broadcast will be hosted exclusively on YouTube Live. The organizers have noted that the audio for both the main and secondary broadcasts will be in Japanese.
