Fractured Online Announces Major Updates: Seasons, Dungeons, and Free-to-Play Transition
Dynamight Studios has unveiled the Fall 2024 roadmap for Fractured Online, featuring key changes including the introduction of Seasons, Dungeons, and a switch to a Free-to-Play model.
The upcoming Patch r.0.4, releasing this week, will revamp consumables with dedicated hotbar slots and introduce more powerful items with longer cooldowns. The patch also brings updates to fortress events, trial rewards, and several bug fixes.
Fractured Online will transition to a Free-to-Play model, with compensation for existing players in the form of VIP time or Dynamight Tokens. The exact date for this transition will be announced soon.
The first Season, launching with the F2P transition, will last three months, offering rewards for solo and guild players. Instanced Dungeons with scalable difficulty will also be introduced, with materials for crafting Artifacts available through Seasons.
New creatures will populate Dungeons, and the game will soon support additional languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Polish.
