Dark Age of Camelot Marks 23rd Anniversary with Events and Bonuses 1

Dark Age of Camelot, first launched in 2001 by Mythic Entertainment, is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this month. The game, known for its three-realm conflict, continues to be supported by Broadsword, with several members of the original development team still involved.

As part of the anniversary celebration, realm bonuses have been activated on both Ywain and Gaheris servers. Players can benefit from a 100% bonus to realm points and experience points in various zones, with crafting bonuses available in capital cities and housing zones. These bonuses will remain active until November 4, 2024.

In addition to these bonuses, DAoC will feature a range of events, including the return of the Traveling Merchants and a Halloween-themed event later in the month. A new Halloween item is also set to be introduced.

The Doppelganger Invasion event has now concluded, though players can still turn in Starlight Weapon Tokens. Doppelgangers have returned to specific zones, and some areas have returned to their original state.

Later in October, Patch 1.129 is scheduled to bring class balance adjustments and other updates, with detailed notes expected to be released soon on the Pendragon test server.
