Mortal Online 2 Releases Patch 1.0.15 with Elementalism, Alchemy, and Quality-of-Life Improvements
Mortal Online 2 players are in for a treat as Star Vault has released a major update to the game, patch notes 1.0.15. The update includes an exciting new magic school, Elementalism, which will allow players to harness the power of the elements like never before. The first stage of this new school will enable players to add projectiles to their spellcasting, making it more exciting than ever.
To aid players on their journey, groups of elementalists can be found scattered throughout Myrland, ready to assist in mastering the elements. Future updates will see players gain access to even more spells, making Elementalism an even more exciting addition to their magical pursuits.
Alchemy has also been expanded with the latest update, giving players the ability to refine new items, discover new resources, and uncover new effects from ingredients. Players will now be able to resist magic damage and experiment with new alchemy effects.
The update also includes much-anticipated quality-of-life changes, such as the ability to slowly walk while casting spells, a new dismounting system, and allowing pets to enter houses.
Players will also notice an improvement in the game’s automatic unstuck feature. The game will no longer default to the upwards direction, and getting stuck in a house or boss trap door will now push players in a reasonable direction. Fall damage has also been removed from sliding, with only free fall causing fall damage.
Star Vault has added a new crash recovery system for scenarios that cannot be handled by Unreal Engine’s crash reporter. The player will be sent back to the main menu with an error message that is automatically sent to the developers, instead of the game silently crashing to the desktop.
In addition to the above changes, there are a host of quality-of-life improvements included in the update, such as the ability to finish a split stack operation by pressing enter and updated character deletion messages to be more clear on what is lost when deleting a character.
Players can now sip potions or quickly consume as much as possible with a press of a button. Ping detection will also start once the loading screen closes and the player is ready to play.
