Jagex has released an Easter-themed update for RuneScape, titled “Egg-cellent Easter 2024: Blooming Burrow.” This seasonal event is available in the game from today until April 8th, offering players three weeks filled with themed activities and challenges.

The update introduces players to a new quest called “Great Egg-Spectations,” where participants join the Easter Bunny in a quest across Gielinor. The aim is to discover, refine, and test the perfect chocolate egg recipe. Additionally, the event features the Hunt for the Golden Egg, encouraging players to engage in daily and weekly Egg Hunt challenges to earn various rewards.

A new hub, the Blooming Burrow, serves as the center for this event. Within this hub, players can partake in several skilling activities that include mining chocolate rocks and hunting chocolate bunnies. These activities are designed to offer rewards, both new and from previous seasonal updates.

The Blooming Burrow event also sees the return of Gummy Bunnie’s “Grand Eggs-Change.” Players can use Spring Tokens to acquire Easter-themed items, such as the Skill Pet Bunny, a popular item from the previous year’s event.
