Square Enix MMO Division Reports Record High Revenue & Profits
Square Enix’ fical year ended on March 31, 2020. The company reported sales of 260.5B Yen ($2.43B USD) and operating income (profit) of 32.7B Yen ($310M USD) for the entire company. The profit margin was at 12.6% for the year.
For the MMO division of the company revenue was 40.1B Yen ($370M USD) and profit at ~19B Yen ($180M USD). Profit margins was at nearly 50% for the MMO division.
The has been a very strong year for Square Enix and especially for the MMO division which develops Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest X, and should come as good news for MMO fans.
