What We Know So Far About Age of Water – Upcoming MMO from Gaijin Entertainment

Age of Water is an upcoming MMO from Gaijin Entertainment that is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth has been flooded.

The game will be released on PC and possibly consoles in the future, and it promises to be an epic adventure that will take players to the depths of the ocean.

Gaijin is also the publisher for Crossout which has a very similar premise but is set on land, and where Crossout is all about building post-apocalyptic cars, Age of Water will be all about vessels of the sea.

In this blog post, we will take a closer look at what we know so far about Age of Water, including its release date, gameplay features, and more!

Age of Water is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth has been flooded. The movie Waterworld from 1995 featuring Kevin Costner must clearly have been an inspiration for the game. In the movie, the Earth is covered in water and the human race has to live on floating cities and ride around on jet skis to get from place to place. The Age of Water will be a very similar experience, but with more advanced technology.

In Age of Water, players will take control of their own boat and explore the depths of the ocean in search of adventure. Ships can be built from the ground up or captured and customized to your heart’s content. Boats will range from small fast motorboats to large ships.

Players can also build their very own hideouts and fortresses, which can be used to protect against enemy attacks or as a base of operations.

Pirates are everywhere in Age of Water, and they will try to plunder your goods and sink your ship.

PvP combat will also be a major part of Age of Water. Players will be able to battle one another for supremacy of the seas. There will also be large-scale battles that players can participate in, which is sure to add some excitement to the game.

Trade also seems to be a key aspect of Age of Water. Players will be able to trade with one another, as well as with NPCs. It’s unclear what exactly can be traded, but it’s safe to assume that there will be a variety of goods and services available.

The game will feature a wide variety of different locations to explore, including the ruins of submerged cities, lost civilizations, and more.

The closed beta for Age of Water commenced in the summer of 2022. The game is currently in development and does not have an official release date yet. However, it is expected to launch sometime in 2023.

At the moment only the PC version has been confirmed, but it’s possible that Age of Water will come to consoles in the future, as many of Gaijin’s other games are available on consoles.
