FFXIV Will Resume Sales on January 26th as Battle Against Server Congestion Continues

Final Fantasy XIV’s Executive Producer Naoki Yoshida returned recently with an update on the continuing fight against server congestion that the game has been seeing since the release of Endwalker in December.

Progress has been made, but some worlds are still experiencing congestion at peak times to the team will continue working on the issue, but it still might take some time due to the global semiconductor shortage.

A new Oceanian data center will launch on January 25th and the Home World Transfer Service will be re-enabled on January 26th.

The login capacity of the Japanese data centers will also be increased, while the European and North American data centers will be expanded this summer.

Sales of Final Fantasy XIV will also resume on January 25th.
