The eagerly anticipated Game Update 7.2.1 is finally live, bringing a host of new features and changes to the popular online multiplayer game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The update includes the beginning of Galactic Season 4, “A Passage of Peace,” which introduces new objectives, rewards, and a brand new companion named Amity. Players will progress through the Messengers of the Cold Moon reputation track and earn new rewards, including the Mek-Sha Hideout Stronghold.
In addition, the update also marks the start of PvP Season 2, “Piercing the Veil,” which comes with changes to how Attacker and Defender medals are earned in a match. Players can earn new rewards by earning PvP points and progressing through the PvP Rewards track.
The update also features changes to combat inflation in the game’s economy, which is the first of many updates planned for the year to address this issue.
Players can also look forward to the new 64-bit Game Client, which provides improved memory usage and removes the 4 GB limit per process. This update will also bring graphics setting changes to optimize visuals on each player’s machine.
