The highly anticipated Necrom Chapter and Update 38 base game patch for The Elder Scrolls Online are now available to test on the Public Test Server (PTS). Players can explore the remote Telvanni Peninsula, the domain of the imperious wizards of House Telvanni, and venture into the winding labyrinths of Apocrypha, the domain of the Daedric Prince of Forbidden Knowledge, Hermaeus Mora.
The Necrom Chapter introduces a brand-new class called the Arcanist, which allows players to draw on the strength of two new companions and take on the Bastion Nymic world events. For players seeking a true challenge, the new 12-player Trial, Sanity’s Edge, awaits in the southeast of the Telvanni Peninsula.
To ensure everyone can create an Arcanist, the game developers are giving everyone one free character slot. Additionally, there are several new item sets to obtain, new Antiquities to discover, and new Collectibles to add to your collection. Housing enthusiasts can also test out three new homes and a variety of new furnishings, including a unique boat house.
Update 38 also adds several quality of life features to the game, including the ability to favorite collectibles and fillet multiple stacks of fish. Reset timer changes have been implemented, and the developer has made it so that the friend Stuga will no longer chase you relentlessly.
The PTS is available for PC NA characters, and templates are available for those who wish to utilize them. The Necrom Chapter is approximately 5.16GB in size and is sure to provide players with hours of entertainment.
The game developer is excited for players to jump into the Necrom Chapter and experience all the new features it has to offer. Players are encouraged to leave their feedback on the PTS forums, which can be accessed at https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/pts.
