Quest & Content Upgrades for Novices: Update 39 aims to make the daunting experience of entering Tamriel for the first time a bit more streamlined. New players can expect a decluttered quest offering. Instead of bombarding low-level characters with tasks, main story quests and those from various guilds and battlegrounds will now unlock more gradually. Furthermore, navigator NPCs, pivotal for transportation between destinations, will now signal when they can assist with locations related to tracked quests.

Inventory Management Streamlined: To aid players grappling with inventory management, this update merges similar Crown Store items for easier stacking. Moreover, clearer communication on sellable items ensures players can swiftly discard unwanted items and earn some gold.

PvP Additions & Novel Rewards: PvP enthusiasts can hunt for three novel monster mask sets offering unique boons. These masks can be exchanged for Alliance Points at designated Cyrodiil Elite Gear Vendors. Other additions include the Unfeathered Battle Body and Face Markings, as well as improved drops from Treasure Scamps within the Imperial City. Moreover, new death notifications promise to make your PvP encounters even more strategic.

Enhanced Home Editor: Players can now place furnishings directly from their Inventory or Collectibles UI. Plus, the option to preview Crown Store furnishings before making a purchase ensures your in-game home resonates with your aesthetic.

Automatic updates will ensure PC/Mac players have their ESO versions updated via the ESO Launcher. The game’s performance requirements remain unchanged and can be checked on the official site. Console players will receive this upgrade on September 5. Crucially, this is a free update, and no additional purchases are required to access these features, barring the game itself.
