The upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom is set to introduce a brand new class called the Arcanist, and a new gameplay trailer has just been released that showcases their incredible abilities. The Arcanist class draws its power from Apocrypha, the realm of Hermaeus Mora, and is capable of manipulating eldritch energies to call forth powerful runes, tomes, and even tentacles to aid them in battle.

The trailer shows the Arcanist in action, utilizing their abilities to devastating effect against a range of enemies. From summoning tentacles to ensnare foes and draw them into range, to creating powerful barriers that absorb incoming attacks and even blasting enemies with eldritch bolts, the Arcanist is a force to be reckoned with.

However, the trailer also warns of the dangers of drawing upon the power of Apocrypha. As with all arcane arts, there is a price to be paid, and players will need to be careful not to risk their souls in their pursuit of power.

Fans of The Elder Scrolls Online can look forward to trying out the new Arcanist class when The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom launches on June 5th for PC/Mac and June 20th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Pre-purchase of Necrom will also give players access to unique bonus rewards at launch, including the Sadrith Mora Spore Steed mount and Sadrith Mora Spore Pony pet, though the latter is only available until April 18th.
