New World is a MMORPG set in the 17th century during the age of exploration. Players will take on the role of one of three factions vying for control of Aeternum, an island located in the Devil’s Triangle off the coast of South America.

While guns are not the main focus of combat in New World, they are still a viable weapon type. Ranged weapons such as muskets and pistols do decent damage and have a good range. They are perfect for taking out enemies from afar.

Guns are not the only ranged weapons in New World though. Players can also use bows and crossbows. These weapons are a bit more difficult to use than guns but can be very effective in the right hands.
